Introducing the Simplicity
Baron…a rear discharge tractor that assures a manicured cut by
discharging grass up the center chute beneath the tractor into the
easiest grass catching and emptying system available. The Baron
was developed for the homeowner who wants the convenience of using
both sides of the mower for trimming, to collect clippings and
have an emptying system which lets the driver stay on the tractor.
Trims Close On Both Sides
Like all Simplicity lawn tractors, the Baron delivers the best cut
with our new 40", Free Floating™ mower deck. The patented design
of this mower features twin, counter-rotating blades to stand up
and cut even the most challenging lawns. An 18-hp Briggs and
Stratton Intek™ V-twin engine provides plenty of power to the
mower to lift clippings and accelerate them into the collector.
A New Easy-to-Use Collector System
After being cut, grass clippings flow through a tube beneath the
tractor and are deposited into a specifically designed collector,
located behind the driver's seat. An audible alarm signals when
the six-bushel collector is ready to be emptied. A foot-controlled
petal activates two gas-filled shocks that raise the collector and
the grass falls out. There is also a handle atop the collector
which allows the driver to close it without leaving the tractor's
seat.
The suggested retail price range for the Baron is $4149 to
$4849.
