| Gandy Company now offers a 2.3 cu. ft.
capacity translucent polyethylene forage applicator (approx.
100 lbs.) with positive displacement metering and electric
motor drive with in-cab rate control. The hopper provides
large capacity to cover more acres per fill, and the in-cab
control allows rate adjustment to compensate for changes in
flow of hay or silage. The underfed metering system eliminates
dribble when not operating and is available in 2, 3 or
4-outlet configurations. The metering system also features
easy cleanout ports behind each spout.
New options include a universal mount designed to fit many
"V" hitches of large round balers and a 250 cfm blower package
to assist product flow to take up chambers.
Gandy also offers the 2.3 cu. ft. capacity poly hopper with
cam gauge metering as well as the economical steel hoppers
with cam gauge metering. Corresponding 250 cfm blower packages
and the "V" hitch mounting are also available options for
these models.
While these hoppers meter a wide range of dry flowable
products, not all materials may be suitable for specific
models.
