The SS-Series Agricultural Seeders are the best way to plant alfalfa, canola and grasses. Seeds are precisely metered and placed at the correct depth for optimum seed germination. Pick-up models are Cat.II hitch. Drawbar models are hydraulic lift style. Hydraulic cylinders and hoses to hitch point included. Safety warning lights are standard equipment. When shipped on factory trucks, seeder comes from the factory assembled except for drawbar and rims. Tires not included.
 

The 5' model features both a large and small seed seedbox as standard equipment. The front seedbox uses a wire cage agitator and 13 adjustable slide openings to meter brome or chaffy seeds. Front seedbox capacity is 1-1/4 bushes. The smaller rear seedbox uses 7 micro-meters to meter alfalfa and other small seeds at lower rates. Rear seedbox capacity is 3/4 bushels. To meter small seeds at higher rates an optional Brush Agitator Kit is available for the larger front seedbox. This model fits category I three point hitch tractors. Seeding width is 60". Overall width is 78".
 

The 5'4" Landscape Seeder breaks up clods, seeds and firms in one operation. The ground driven seeding mechanism stops when the seeder is raised or stops. Seeds are deposited at the correct depth for rapid germination in a firm seedbed. Thick even stands are the result. Seedbox capacity is 4 bushels. A brush agitator keeps seeds flowing at a positive and accurate rate. The 3" spacing of the 21 openings in the bottom of the box insure uniform seed distribution across the full width of the seeder. Wheel mark levelers are standard equipment. Seeding width is 64". Overall width is 84". For use on Cat. 1 three point hitch.
